  • Women over 16 years of age
    (sorry no crèche facilities available)

  • Please bring a leotard or T-shirt and a long skirt to wear in class

  • Women of all ages and sizes are welcome and can learn this dance competently

Directions to Tankersley Welfare Hall:

From M1Junction 36: Take A61 towards Sheffield. Before you reach Tankersley Manor Hotel, turn first right to Westwood New Road. Left at J&I School. Right Fork onto Lidgett Lane. Right at top of hill Chapel Road. Right at end of Village onto Pilley Lane. Welfare Hall on left hand side of road. There is a large car park.

Traveling from Sheffield on A61: Take a left turn on Westwood New Road, just after you pass Tankersley Manor Hotel and before you reach the M1 junction. Follow above directions from there.

   From Barnsley Town Centre on A61: Take the "Egyptian Route"! Just before you reach the junction with the M1, take a right turn marked "the Walk". This will take you past the Egyptian style Obelisk (built in 1775, indicating 3 miles to Wentworth Castle). Follow that road for a short distance until you see a sign for Pilley which takes you over the motorway. Keep on this road (Pilley Lane) until you see the Welfare on the right hand side of this road.
